Taking something old and making something new is always fun for me. These Mercury Dime are made of Coin Silver and that is 90% Silver, just a little less than Sterling Silver which is 92.5%. Sterling with Peridot and Opal. The combination of Opal and Peridot in this piece works so well. The Opal had bright flashes of green that matched the Peridot like they were made for each other. This was made for a woman who had two sons, one born in August and the other born in October. Sterling and Black Pearls.
