You go, grill. June 10, 2010 · Filed under Cooking. Corn on the cob. It’s way too hot outside (112 degrees F/44 degrees C — Can you believe it? But we’re grilling anyway. It’s typical, unsurprising fare. No pizzas on the grill or fish on Himalayan salt blocks, no paella or stuffed poblanos — nothing as adventurous as all that. We’ll get there, later. For now it’s back to basics. And who can blame us when we’ve found the season’s first sweet, white corn. For a little cheeseburger-in-Paris inspiration.).

The cooking of the spätzle required 3 quarts of chicken stock and rather than let all that wonderful stock go to waste, I made a VERY slow cooked chicken noodle soup for Souper Sunday. 4 quarts of chicken stock. 1 13 oz. can of shredded cooked chicken. 1/4 cup of fresh flat leaf parsley chopped. 2 cloves of garlic chopped.

From the French Kitchen. Tour de Food Blogs. This recipe wins the SUPER FAST, SUPER EASY award hands down. You cook in the microwave and it takes less than 10 minutes. It was a fabulous side to steak and roasted potato fries ( revisited! 1 9 oz. box frozen asparagus cuts. 1 c sliced fresh mushrooms. 2 Tbsp. butter. 1/8 tsp. garlic powder. 1 Tbsp. grated Parm. Place asparagus in microwavable bowl. Microwave on high 2 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients except Parm. Sprinkle with Parm before serving.
