Farewell et Adieu, Home and Native Land. Things I Enjoy About the DR. Sunday, December 5, 2010. Ants in my Purse. Yes, that is correct. I had ants (and tiny spiders) in my purse on Friday morning. By the end of the day I was exhausted with a headache. I decided not to go to Romanian night as a result. Instead, I spent the evening listening to Beethoven and reading my book. It was exactly what I needed. I was also able to have a chat with mom and with Bart, which was nice. Today, I had exciting plans!

Northern Lights from the Plane. After coffee with Leslie, I walked over to Churchill Square to meet Karen at 3 Bananas. On the way I stopped in to see my Uncle quickly too. He seemed a bit surprised to see me walk through the door! For lunch with Bart at Zinc. Avocado and goat cheese mousse. Pool at City Hall.

Also, when I'm out driving with Bart or my brother (I've yet to put insurance back on my own car) I keep thinking to myself, if we were in the Dominican, we could totally run this red right now, or we could totally decide this was a turning lane.
