Wednesday, August 22, 2012. We love all our grandchildren, and we are very fortunate to live about two hours away from Lillian, Ryan and Dara's daughter. We have been able to see her a lot lately. We even got to keep her for four whole days without her Mom and Dad. We had so much fun with her. When she visits we like to cook together:. She gives Grandpa big hugs:. Sunday, May 6, 2012. I was inspired by this yesterday. I discussed it with Dara while we were visiting to celebrate her birthday, and we decided to start a 30 day challenge together. We're starting rather small, but hopefully it will lead us into a habit that we've all been encouraged to start:. Take a picture a day. Learn a new word a day. Read 50 pages a day. Draw something every day. Clean or organize a space a day - drawer, shelf, closet, cupboard. Memorize a measure of music a day. La vie est belle.

Sunday, April 24, 2011. This past month has been full. We've enjoyed some wonderful times with family. We celebrated with Colleen at Sakura on her birthday. Skip went to Colorado, where he, his brother and sisters were sealed to their parents in the temple. Emily went with the Forest Park choirs to New York City for a music festival. They competed with other choirs across the country and did extremely well. I couldn't resist taking this picture with my i-phone of everyone on their i-phones.

Friday, July 27, 2012. Our Condie family reunion was very special this year, because we were celebrating my Mom and Dad being together for 50 years! All of my brothers and sisters were able to attend. Our location? The next morning we had a family fun run. Wednesday, February 8, 2012. A Blessing for Lillian. On Sunday morning, February 5, Skip, Kara, and I, after picking up Grandma and Grandpa Condie along the way, drove down to Charlottesville, to attend sacrament meeting with Ryan and Dara, to witness and participate in the priesthood blessing given to little Lillian. Sunday, April 28, 2013. Spring time is bringing lots of changes to the Baird Family. Natalie is living at home now after graduating from the AVEDA institute in Provo, and passing her state board exam. She now has a Virginia license, and a job at Beau Totale, a salon in Burke, as an assistant. She turned 21 on April 6. We had a little family gathering to celebrate and honor her. Spring is bringing changes to the Ryan Baird family. Lillian is going to have a brother! She showed Grandpa how she can dance!
