The Matlocks: August 2011
http://tylerandtrudi.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 29, 2011. Noah was part of a Mini-Men photo shoot a few weeks ago. It was at a farm shop in the middle of nowhere. Noah was NOT in a good mood whatsoever, would not let go of my leg and was literally running from the photographer and hiding behind me. It was awkward, frustrating and super hot! I was so over it! Thank you to all the friends and family who voted! Here are some of the winning shots:. Thursday, August 25, 2011. I will finish my antibiotics this time (maybe lay off the vicodin ...

Layla is growing like a weed! She has a complete strip of baldness at the back of her cute head! I have been busy with Christmas and everything else. My book-club had bru...

The Matlocks: April 2011
http://tylerandtrudi.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 30, 2011. As most of you know, my husband is a high school teacher. Sometimes he tells me stories about things that happen at school and sometimes I FREAK OUT! My mam always told us to never throw the first punch, but if someone hit us first then it was on! Anywho, back to kids.and not even kids, but people in general. Why are they so mean? I was appalled and disgusted! Who thinks something like that, let alone says it? Anyway, she posted a while back that while shopping at the grocery st...

Memoirs of 2 Wicked Chefs: Family Favorite-Stuffed Peppers
http://memoirs-of-2-wicked-chefs.blogspot.com/2011/04/family-favorite-stuffed-peppers.html
Memoirs of 2 Wicked Chefs. Food, stories and the wicked ways we got there. Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Spicy or mild, creamy or crunchy. these are delicious! These are incredible easy, great as an appetizer, carry-in dish or holiday hors d'oeuvre. If you decide to reheat these expect them to get gradually hotter. Unfortunately the peppers do not come with a spicy thermometer so it can be guess work to know if they will be spicy or not. All of the quantities are approximations. Recipe Yields 5-10 Servings.

:DISTherapy: A Tale of March Madness- How Basketball Rescued My Autistic Son
http://www.distherapy.com/2011/03/tale-of-march-madness-how-basketball.html
Thursday, March 31, 2011. A Tale of March Madness- How Basketball Rescued My Autistic Son. Shortly before his 5. Birthday, my son told me that when he “grewed up” he was going to play ball at Duke University. He would stand in front of the TV and jump up and down for hours while he watched college basketball. He would read (yes, at 5) the ESPN Sports Almanac and memorize every record and every Final Four champion since 1939. He was diagnosed with autism before he was 2. The dreaded A word. We began a hom...
