The Okuda Family Blog: Christmas 2005
http://okuda.blogspot.com/2006/03/christmas-2005.html
The Okuda Family Blog. Just another family blog with lots of boring pictures of us. Friday, March 24, 2006. I'm getting way behind with these posts, so I am going to try and catch up - starting with the end of last year. It is always fun having everyone together in one place, too bad it only happens once a year. Posted by Kaz @ 3/24/2006 12:43:00 AM. Things You Never Thought You'd Hear. Cabo San Lucas Part 3. http://okuda.blogspot.com/2006/02/swamp-dragons.html
The Okuda Family Blog. Just another family blog with lots of boring pictures of us. Sunday, February 26, 2006. Matthew joined a local soccer team this year coached by his friend's dad. It is the first year playing soccer for many of them and they are still learning about the strategies. and rules. of the game. His team tries hard and has yet to win a game, but it has been close. They have even scored a couple of goals. Posted by Kaz @ 2/26/2006 07:40:00 PM. Things You Never Thought You'd Hear.

The Okuda Family Blog: More Soccer
http://okuda.blogspot.com/2006/03/more-soccer.html
The Okuda Family Blog. Just another family blog with lots of boring pictures of us. Wednesday, March 29, 2006. The soccer season is over for Matthew. Here are some photos of games since the last post. At the beginning of January, Matthew's team was in an indoor tournament at Park Gate. They didn't win, but played well. Inside was much more comfortable than outside and convenient for the grandparents to come and watch. The longer reach of the new lens makes the shoe laces just jump out at you.

The Okuda Family Blog: Skiing with Matthew
http://okuda.blogspot.com/2006/04/skiing-with-matthew.html
The Okuda Family Blog. Just another family blog with lots of boring pictures of us. Friday, April 07, 2006. The ski season started for us this year in January, when Matthew started his lessons on Mount Seymour. This is his third year of lessons and he has improved a lot. The weather during his lessons was less than optimal with some very wet snow. We were fortunate that it never rained, but snowing when the temperature is above freezing isn't much better. The second day Matthew and I went up Whistler....

The Okuda Family Blog: Kiyo's Birthday
http://okuda.blogspot.com/2006/04/kiyos-birthday.html
The Okuda Family Blog. Just another family blog with lots of boring pictures of us. Thursday, April 20, 2006. Matthew and I went to Galiano for my brother Kiyo's birthday. Jocelyn was in Las Vegas and missed the party. It seemed like half of the island was there celebrating. the fun half. I'm sure they have parties like that ever weekend, but to us city folk it was wild. A bit of rain, a lot of mud, a lot of music, and a lot of drinking. Each evening was a new party - or perhaps it was just a continuatio...

The Okuda Family Blog: Vancouver Island
http://okuda.blogspot.com/2006/04/vancouver-island.html
The Okuda Family Blog. Just another family blog with lots of boring pictures of us. Sunday, April 16, 2006. For spring break we took a slightly different kind of vacation. Rather than sunning in Mexico we chose to stay close to home and visit Tofino and Victoria on Vancouver Island. We stayed at the Long Beach Lodge in Tofino. It reminds me of the Wickaninnish Inn but (slightly) cheaper. On the way back in we passed these sea lions trying to figure out what everyone on our boat had for lunch. In Victoria...

The Okuda Family Blog: Matthew's Seventh Birthday
http://okuda.blogspot.com/2006/03/matthews-seventh-birthday.html
The Okuda Family Blog. Just another family blog with lots of boring pictures of us. Wednesday, March 01, 2006. There was also a simulator ride that I missed and a presentation on the science of bodily functions in space. The kids loved that one. This is Matthew taking part in a demonstration showing that the ears have a lot to do with how we sense our movement. Oh, and how they make astronauts puke. Posted by Kaz @ 3/01/2006 07:58:00 PM. The Okuda Family Blog: Stone Soup
http://okuda.blogspot.com/2006/02/stone-soup.html
The Okuda Family Blog. Just another family blog with lots of boring pictures of us. Friday, February 24, 2006. Matthew's class performed a play in December called Stone Soup. Matthew lost his part in the play because of our trip to Cabo, but he still had a small speaking role. There was singing and dancing and something about a magic soup of stones.
