Ganz nah bei den Bergen. Der Familie Profanter, in herrlicher Position am Munkelweg gelegen. Ein beliebtes Wanderziel, welches zum Verweilen und zum Genuss der einheimischen Küche einlädt. Unsere Alm liegt auf 2006 m Meereshöhe und hat tagsüber geöffnet. Wir öffnen heuer am 14. Mai 2016. Das siebte Südtiroler Naturparkhaus ist seit Dezember 2009 in St. Magdalena im Villnösser Tal - in unmittelbarer Nähe des Profanterhofes - der Öffentlichkeit zugängig. Dieses Tal wurde deshalb zum Standort gewählt, weil hier ein Hauptzugang zum Naturpark Puez-Geisler ist und weil auf diese Weise auch der Einzugsbereich des Eisacktals abgedeckt wird. An Feiertagen bleibt das Naturparkhaus geschlossen! Im Juli und August bleibt das Naturparkhaus auch sonntags geöffnet. Amt für Naturparke .

Von Norden oder Süden über die Brennerautobahn A22. Bis zur Ausfahrt Brixen Süd/Bressanone Sud. Von dort bringt Sie eine Provinzstraße bequem ins Villnösser Tal. Folgen Sie den braunen Leitpfeilen ins Villnöß Tal und dann den blauen Leitpfeilen nach St. Magdalena und schließlich dem Hinweisschild zum Profanterhof. Die IC- und EC-Züge halten in Brixen.
