Ferdiad: April 2010
http://manofsmoke.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, 15 April 2010. This blog now consists of 25% recycled material. I found an article I wrote in 2002 when I was a member of Caer Clud, a druidry group full of mirth and companionship that inspired me and was a cruicible for many things. But everything has its season and Caer Clud has now, in the words of one of the co-founders,"faded into the mists". It’s much more fun to do it outside. Or maybe I just enjoy going out and getting myself muddy from time to time. Because I can, because I want to.

Wednesday, 25 June 2008. Back to my roots. 8230;and this year it has only stirred me enough to blow the dust from my bookjacket. Maybe it is the city I live in or maybe it is the six-day week I work. Maybe I’m just not making time for connection anymore. Like the friend you keep meaning to call and then feel more awkward with each passing day that you don’t. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, 15 June 2014. In a clearing in the middle of the deep greenwood sits a man in a patch of dappled sunlight, careless of his simple robe, cross-legged and barefoot on the forest floor. Around him are arrayed books and journals, alongside a burlap satchel containing an assortment of curious items he has gathered along his way. From time to time he looks up, reaches out to select a new journal, swimming through the lines and words, bathing in the pools and currents of these memories. Satisfied with h...

My open blog for people who want to read my books, articles, and any other things that I might produce, keep track of storytelling engagements, listen to my less demented rantings, and generally play nice (or naughty, I'm easy. as is widely known). Saturday, 20 June 2015. The distant bells of the church struck the midnight hour and the ferns seemed to shiver in response. Stirring, unfolding, gradually releasing their hidden treasures, Nathan and his son watched as three small balls of gold were expose...
