01/11/2012 · 2:37 pm. I’ve just discovered today that a website I created many years ago on subsumption architecture. Is in the top 10 results for that term on Google. Occasionally I still get emails from people asking me questions about it. It’s kind of exciting to realise that you are in the Google top 10, but also a bit sad that there is such a scarcity of information on the subject. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Field of Daisies Dress →. 17/07/2012 · 7:32 pm. I’ve been neglecting my blog shamefully, I admit! I swore that I was going to come back and share photos with you, then I didn’t. The upside to this is that now I have a fun backlog of finished objects to share with you, hurrah! The first is a pair of armwarmers from a book I picked up on my trip to Japan called Knit Wardrobe. The pattern is for the white armwarmers shown in the second photo from the bottom. Filed under Finished Object. Yummy You could put ...

Newer posts →. 22/05/2012 · 11:10 am. Ok, so I’ve been back from my trip for a while now and all I’ve done is post about not washing my hair…I’ll put up photos of the trip, I promise! I wanted to post photos of all the awesome craft supplies I bought too, but I haven’t gotten around to taking them yet. While I was in Japan, my sister Adrienne and I watched a Korean drama called You’re Beautiful. This weekend I got out one of the Japanese knitting books I bought while I was away and started working on a p...

Thanks, Google →. 23/07/2012 · 1:14 pm. At the moment, I am experiencing some extreme craft frustration. Any readers out there who are also crafters will know EXACTLY what I am talking about. It’s when you are really trying to make something work…but then something goes wrong…and then something else goes wrong…and eventually you just take the whole project and put it in the naughty corner for being so aggravating. This weekend I bought some yarn from our new LYS, Kathy’s Knits. And The Grand Sophy. I wou...

Taiwan and Japan photos – finally! Inspiration: Georgette Heyer →. 18/07/2012 · 9:07 am. A sneak preview of the project I am working on next:. The fabric is a purple/white double gauze that I bought in Japan. It has a very subtle vertical stripe which it’s hard to distinguish here. The buttons are wood, also from Japan (Yuzawaya, of course! Isn’t that dreamy? What projects are you dreaming about? Taiwan and Japan photos – finally! Inspiration: Georgette Heyer →. One response to “. Enter your comment here.

Pop Art Dress →. 17/07/2012 · 7:54 pm. Field of Daisies Dress. Recently I’ve been on a total sewing binge (ok, not really that different from normal), especially now that I have all my fun Japanese pattern books to play with! The one I’m obsessed with right now is the Sweet Dress Book. This one is a beaut. As you can imagine, it’s all patterns for dresses. The patterns are simple, but elegant and feminine. Also – very comfy! Here is a close-up of the ever-so-charming collar:. The fabric is a very flutter...
