Thinking On The Edge
There is a place in mind and heart where creative thinking runs up against expectations, assumptions and conditioning. Whenever we challenge that conditioned thought, we are thinking on the edge. To the degree that we are successful in that effort, we manage to take new steps in our own personal development. Then I hear the words, Oh my god! Love's mome...

Thinking on These Things
Thinking on These Things. National Geographic's Photo of the Day. Saturday, January 29, 2011. Christ didn't come to a democracy. I somehow missed the news about revolution in Tunisia. When I heard about Egypt's political turmoil, my internet search led to this article in boston.com. As a geography and history teacher, I was intrigued by the idea that perhaps we have no business pushing secular democracy on other societies. How often does our political ideology interfere with our effort to share Christ?

Thinking On Things Above
Thinking On Things Above. Monday, May 10, 2010. It continually amazes me as to what we, as Christians, will listen too. The radio (satellite, Internet, or old fashion FM/AM) plays on in the background all day long. Start the car, click on the music. Read a book, ear buds in.ahhh.now I can concentrate. And what are we listening to? What we put in our minds impacts our very soul. Try an experiment. Make the commitment to NOT. Maybe not even 1? Try it.I double dog dare you! Feel the urge to turn it on?
