In the frenzy and the nail biting drama of the World Cup which has now reached the quaterfinals stage, I wonder if most of you soccer nuts out there realised this bit of a drama-ier drama which is about to explode tomorrow night. NopeIt's not about the aftermath from the match between Argentina and Germany. This one is so much more important.

All the hype, the build up and the reports concluded with the telecasts a couple of nights ago. The wedding garnered 6.3 million, the break up garnered 4.7 million viewers. I may be a lil dramatic on things but coming in for work at 8am and leaving at around 7pm, with almost every minute consisting of meetings, emails, reading or drafting or redrafting something and the walk to and from the lrt station has to an extend taken its toll on me. Many times I’ve tried and almost each time I’ve failed. I’ve pushed myself, I’ve set my mind to it, I concentrated hard but yet, it was beyond my reach. I have heard stories from the achievers. The doers, the makers. All I can do is to just look at them grudgingly. My weekends felt so wasted. Unfulfilled, Lacking. That is, until last Saturday.

The results I thought, would be pretty routine as I was expecting the all clear from the doctor. Well, I thought wrong. My blood pressure reading was high (138/100)! Honestly I was caught totally off guard by this. Never had this problem before. The color blindness and the slightly blurry vision on my right eye i knew but high blood?
