Citizens of Marvin and surrounding neighborhoods let the Council know that the park location was not acceptable for many reason. Only one person spoke in favor of the park, while seven spoke against it. The Council seemed disinterested in the public comments. One Council member rarely looked up from his computer screen, showing total indifference and disdain for the genuine concerns of the residents. December 1, 2010 at 8:17 AM.
