Faces from Pambisa Village, Paro. A selection of black and white portraits from my father's ancestral village. Laya and Lunana in northern Bhutan covers a major part of Jigme Dorji National Park. The route also covers parts of the world famous Snowman Trek . White Bellied Herons (. Globally threatened, and considered to be one of the 50 rarest birds in the world, a pair of nesting white bellied herons was discovered in Bhutan in early 2003. after the last on ein the 1920s in Burma. About me : photo and gear. The thinley in http:/ thinley.tripod.com. Welcome, this is where I get to I tell you a little about myself, and why i have a website and photographs here. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 1999, with a BSc in Natural Resources. It was there, during my forays into the field, I got into a little bit of photography. I also got introduced to the internet (that was in 1995) and learnt some HTML from student volunteers with Students Information Technology.
