http://thinlyspread.co.uk/2015/04/14/how-to-make-a-garden-notebook
Privacy and Disclosure Policy. How to Make a Garden Notebook. Apr 14, 2015. One Sunday afternoon, just before Easter, I spent a very happy couple of hours crafting in Cardiff’s lovely Chapter Arts Centre. With Hillary’s Blinds. And The Crafty Hen. Using fabric supplied by Hillary’s I made a lovely little spool bird and a fabulous reusable fabric notebook cover. Here is my bird, perched on my book, checking out my beautiful little Suffolk puff! Next I helped myself to ribbons and buttons from the stash br...
Photographing Trees - Thinly Spread
http://thinlyspread.co.uk/photographing-trees
Privacy and Disclosure Policy. Apr 4, 2012. I love trees, I have taken thousands of pictures of trees. Walking in woodland, proper deciduous woodland, gladdens my heart and allows my soul to breathe. When I drive through the ancient tree tunnels of Devon, Cornwall and Wales I can feel the magic all around me. Trees are why I will never stop believing in fairies. This one made me pull over. I stood in the sudden silence and listened. Silence isn’t silent. The trees are talking. This is where I am at peace.

From couch to 13.1 miles. Hopefully…. Welcome to Mrs C Runs! June 15, 2014. Some of you may know me online already as I’ve been busy blogging over at Being Mrs C for over six years now. Early 2014 saw me set myself a bit of a running challenge. To raise money for Save the Children by running a 5km race at the St Albans Half Marathon in June. In 2015 I plan to run the Sheffield 10k Run in the Park. In support of Weston Park Hospital who treated my late father when he was diagnosed with lung cancer. I did ...

This plan – and I want you all to join in as often as you can (or want to) is to finally make use of all those recipe books cluttering up the house, and maybe have an excuse to buy some new ones. I counted mine before the holidays and not including the articles cut from magazines, or the 18th century cookbook I helped write some years ago (don’t ask! So this is it!
