Tuesday, April 20, 2004. Brief notes. I survived Swancon. My relationship survived Swancon. My only real injury sustained at Swancon was during a Quidditch game. It's healing nicely. I might post more about that later. Issue 3 of Borderlands. Is out. Subscribe now. See the link. Google's interesting social networking thing. Make me your friend! If you want to be in Orkut, mail me. Will post more later! Posted by Simon @ 5:22 pm. I chose not to choose life. I chose something else. And the reasons?

Wednesday, February 04, 2009. The Day the Music Died. It's been 50 years since Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Boppper (J. P. Richardson) died in a plane crash near Clear Lake Iowa, with their pilot, Roger Peterson. Of the three recording artists, one is the subject of a long running stage play, another was the subject of a Golden Globe nominated bio-pic, and the Big Bopper remains an unlucky bit part. Posted by Simon @ 1:27 am. There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got a blog?

Tuesday, December 30, 2003. Christmas is (almost) over! My Christmas usually runs for three days. It starts on Christmas Eve - it's my Dad's birthday, so there's usually a family gathering. Sometimes with friends of the family, so it'll have a Christmas vibe running through it. Then there's Christmas Day proper - get to see more of the family - and then Boxing Day, when I catch up with friends. I didn't get to catch up with everyone, due to running away to see. Return of the King. Watched 18 episodes of.

Monday, March 29, 2004. As some of you may be aware, I'm putting together the video stream for Swancon this year. While Grant helped me programme it, I'm pretty much in charge of the mass assemblage of what's on the piece of paper onto actual video tape, in the right order, to time. By the end of the evening, I had the weirdest medley of Buffy/Rocky Horror/Wizard of Oz/South Park songs chasing around my head. I'm quite glad it's stopped. Posted by Simon @ 2:07 pm.
