Tuesday, March 20, 2012. 163;73 is what a peak ticket from Chippenham to London costs these days. That's roughly. 163;60 per hour. It's not even really peak - unless you work in Paddington station this one is going to get you to your desk not much before 10am. So is it really too much to ask that included in one's £73 fare is a seat? Note to self: arrange meetings further in advance to take advantage of cheap first class tickets. Wednesday, March 7, 2012. thirdratewestern.com: It's (not) good to be back

http://thirdratewestern.blogspot.com/2008/12/its-not-good-to-be-back.html

Tuesday, December 2, 2008. It's (not) good to be back. Several months with not a single journey requiring the services of Third Rate Western has been most pleasant. Off to London yesterday, though, and even I am not stupid enough to attempt that journey in the car. There's only so much Radio 4 one can tolerate to be honest. So, up early and away we go. Oyster card - check. Check the live departure boards - check. Just what are the chances of that? December 4, 2008 at 4:46 PM. I Hate First Great Western.

thirdratewestern.com: October 2007

http://thirdratewestern.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html

Wednesday, October 31, 2007. The driver's doing what? So we're waiting for the driver to relieve himself. Or perhaps we're waiting for a relief driver. Either way, we're late. Again. Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Regret no coach D. The 18:00 from Bristol to London. Seems like a good candidate for being really busy, doesn't it? Lots of commuters, lots of extra people from Weston Super Mare. But all is not lost. Telling us that you "regret" that there's a coach missing makes it all better, doesn't it? Let's j...

thirdratewestern.com: February 2008

http://thirdratewestern.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 27, 2008. You only have yourselves to blame. When I was a lad (before I was sent down t' pit and had to eat gravel etc.) I'd get the train to and from school, on the London to Brighton line with old fashioned slam-door trains. There were no platform staff. The guard didn't have to shut the doors. The commuters did it themselves. Why? Perhaps because they knew that no-one was going to do it for them, and if they didn't shut them then they wouldn't be on their way to work any time soon.

http://hroshea.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Monday, 27 October 2008. Made a flying visit to Wales for Lexie's 2nd birthday party on Sunday. She was dressed as Snow White! Gorgeous. Everything is "princess, princess, princess" at the moment, so she was a princess for the day. As always, she was full of smiles and cuddles, and sooooooooooo cute and comical. And despite the house being rammed full of people, all pointing cameras at her (! She was a total sweetie for the whole 4 hours . Tuesday, 7 October 2008. Rain, rain, go away! Subscribe to: Posts...

Hayley O'Shea: rain, rain, go away !

http://hroshea.blogspot.com/2008/10/rain-rain-go-away.html

Tuesday, 7 October 2008. Rain, rain, go away! The rain has settled in for the week now methinks. Grotty dark rainy mornings. My least favourite time of the year for 6am dog walking! Anna and Simon are coming to stay this weekend - looking forward to that. Plenty of shopping to be done in the new Cabot's Circus centre, plus a Bottelino's meal on Saturday evening - lovely. Emma, Paul and Lexie are in Florida for 2 weeks - lucky people. I think they are going to "Disney-out"! Rain, rain, go away!

http://hroshea.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Friday, 28 November 2008. Well the month of November, what's gone on? Same old, same old for the most part. We had a lovely weekend visit by Emma,Paul and Lexie which was lovely. We all went shopping in Bristol, where Lexie made friends with the giant statue reindeer, and loved the large pile of Christmas baubles in Quakers Friar. I put our Christmas tree up before they arrived, and Lexie loved it! Its a brown tree with gold and chocolate baubles and stars. It looks nicer than it sounds, honest! Goodbye:...

Nova Hobbies Homepage

Nova Hobbies was born in 1995 from a money-strapped teenager's desire to find a good model of a very rarely seen ship: the conjectural Daedalus class starship. From then on, Nova Hobbies became dedicated to producing resin kits of the non-mainstream Trek subjects. Our goal was simple: to provide qaulity resin models at an affordable price. In 2007, Nova Hobbies ceased local production and joined forces with Federation Models. Mouth-watering nuggets of Sci-Fi starships await you inside our website! New pi...
