Thursday, January 13, 2011. Well, next month I will be 39 years old. I have been divorced for over two years and must say that although I love my girls (teenagers), that I miss having someone in my life with which to do things with on occasion. I am not sure if marriage is an idea that I would contemplate over again but nothing is impossible. Although this is a great option, the question arises as to how to meet normal people that I can find compatabile interests with and meet up for dating purposes.

Monday, 3 August 2015. Easiest birthday cake ever. While the sleepover was the stuff of nightmares, K's cake was a dream to put together. I made a simple chocolate cake, coated it with buttercream icing and covered it with smoothly-rolled white fondant. I left to harden for a night before putting it out to be decorated with food markers by K's friends. Besides looking rather cool, the cake tasted pretty good, if I do say so myself!
