Asian Grilled Chicken: (makes 6 servings). 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 teaspoon ground pepper. 6 whole chicken legs. Cup Asian fish sauce. 2 tablespoons lime juice. 1 clove garlic, minced. 1 small Thai chili, seeded and minced (or teaspoon chili oil). Cup cilantro, finely chopped. Tagged as: Asian food.

Soufflés are hard to make, pickled onions not so much. These are an excellent and colorful addition to salads, Mexican food, roasted salmon or with smoked fish. They add a nice zip to all sorts of meals. Make some, put them in your fridge and see where your imagination takes you. Juice of a medium lemon (prefer Meyer). 20 minute dinner (4).

Let them eat cake. 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature. 1 teaspoon lemon extract. Cup buttermilk (shake well before measuring).
