Journey to become a Librarian. This Bird Does It. November 12, 2016. A letter to the other Trump supporters. And The New York Daily News. So what are we afraid of? I don’t know, and really it doesn’t matter. It’s happening. The fear IS justified. I bet we can find common ground there. Anybody else wanna read? Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Journey to become a Librarian. This Bird Does It. June 11, 2016. Good heavens, we are blessed. I worked this morning, so I missed some excitement. The middle kid had a double header, and he played fabulously. YAY for baseball! A homerun, to RBIs, a slide into home, and he was awarded the game ball. The girl had a softball game and she also played well. It was hot and everyone kept their chin up and pulled through. This is my life? I’m this lucky? Yeah I am. Now, what am I going to teach my children?

Family, friends, faith, and love! Sleigh Bells ring…. January 4, 2016. All my life, we had a special red sled at our family home at Christmas. It was on our living room mantel and typically had 2 candles in it, along with some pine or Christmas ornaments. It was very pretty and a nice family Christmas tradition. We stopped noticing it but knew it was always there at Christmas and Mom made it look pretty every year. It was a pleasant surprise that those templates had a life long before my father.

Family, friends, faith, and love! Monday Music Memories – Walking on Broken Glass with Patty. July 21, 2015. July 21, 2015. This post is about Patty. She is my sib closest in age to me, 2 years apart. We were dressed like twins most of our childhood and we say that each of us has half of our childhood memories locked away…the opposite half, of course. It’s kind of weird because we often don’t remember the others’ stories – and sometimes deny them! Here’s the truth – Patty. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Family, friends, faith, and love! Richard A. Moore. June 7, 2016. My dad, Richard A Moore, died on June 8, 1999. Some days it seems like only 17 minutes ago. Other days it’s like 27 years. Today, I’m missing him greatly – I usually do when there are big changes going on. He was a calm supporter during these times like these. Here are my words to honor my favorite dad on this day…. Dad was a story teller supreme. You never knew when he started a story if it was real or a joke. He was a history sha...The w...

What are you thankful for tonight? | thetewellbox
https://thetewellbox.wordpress.com/2015/11/27/what-are-you-thankful-for-tonight
Family, friends, faith, and love! What are you thankful for tonight? November 27, 2015. I hope everyone has had a yummy meal with friends and/or family today. And I hope you all have given at least a few minutes to ponder what you’re thankful for. Because everyone has at least one thing, I’m convinced. For me – I’m thankful for my family and friends. They – you – have shaped my life. Everything else is just gravy. Tell me in a few words what you’re thankful for…come on. Don’t be shy. Richard A. Moore.

Family, friends, faith, and love! February 22, 2017. February 22, 2017. Here is my mom’s heart. Her initial on one side, the year it was given to her on the other. It’s fading now, after 42 years. My Uncle Tony owned a machine shop in Cleveland and made puffed hearts for all of my oodles of aunts. He didn’t make them at the same time. And he didn’t use the same mold. Some were puffier, some were longer. Just as my aunts were different, so were their hearts. Richard A. Moore. June 7, 2016. My dad, Richard...

Family, friends, faith, and love! July 18, 2015. July 18, 2015. They say home is where the heart is. I’ve never had to give that much thought. We moved into our family home right before I turned 2. My mom closed on it yesterday, 45 years later. That old house was the center of it all – weddings, graduations, funerals, surprise parties, fights, proposals, every wonderful and sad thing that happened to us. Family, friends, faith, and love! Good Christmas evening to you, my friends! I hope you’ve had a lovely advent season and have celebrated the birth of Jesus with friends and loved ones doing fun, celebratory things and making memories. This Bipolar Life
February 13, 2013. Today I’m going to digress from the main theme of this blog, which so far has been about how to manage bipolar and establish myself in employment. Instead, I’m going to write about how I experience “relationships” (if you could really call them that) with others. Because I’m an inherently shy person, I find it … Continue reading →. 17 January 2013 – Crazy Up and Down. 17 January 2013 – Crazy Up and Down. Blog at WordPress.com.

For our last full day in Ireland on September 26th, we woke up in Kenmare and got packed. We headed toward Blarney to visit Blarney Castle and kiss the Blarney Stone. We looked at the tower and dungeons and then climbed up to the top in a line. The steps were steep and winding, making it a bit scary at times. After they left, we headed to bed so tha...

Sunday, May 24, 2015. I know this is probably going to be "old news" for most of you guys, but I still want to put my thoughts out there about the riots that happened in Baltimore and a few other things that have been bugging me. First off, that flag that you are standing on? I do know that those people rioting in Baltimore, most of them were bussed in from Ferguson to cause that kind of damage. Okay, I am off my soap box now. Haha. Move Tip #2: Make a running inventory of all the things you have in your...
The Birdhouse | Adventures in Creativity at Home
Adventures in Creativity at Home. There was this rocking chair. I don’t even know how I ended up with it. It had 70’s looking dark wood stain and yellow velvet cushion. The velvet cushion sounds awesome. It was nasty and stained and flat and uncomfortable. I threw that part away long before taking a “before” picture. But obviously, the rocking chair could be made beautiful. While the poly dried, I used some leftover drop cloth material from my curtains. To cover a big cushion I picked up from Ross on cle...
