A profile of the renovation of our new home. Wheel of Fortune Before and After. Kitchen left side. New cabinets, appliances, tile, paint, window, sink and faucet. Kitchen right side. Counter extended to add dishwasher. Shelves to be hung above backsplash. Dining room. Walls refinished. Chair rail, crown molding and beautiful color palette. New windows. Notice the chandelier. I spray painted the existing one and changed the bulb covers to lamp shades. Cost: $15 each (there are 2). Bathroom new tub and tile.

Thursday, September 29, 2016. My Xander turned 8 a few weeks ago. I know I'm such a cliche mom, but I really can't believe he's 8. EIGHT. Such a big kid. And he's great, y'all. I know everyone thinks that about their children, but he really is just the best. He's compassionate and kind and honest and hilarious and just a really good kid. I need to find another means of income, or at least not let it consume my life. It's just work. It's just a paycheck.
