This Blog Is Not Flat :). Snowboarding 2010 - Ischgl, Zermatt, Jackson Hole, Morzine. Monday, 8 March 2010. It had to be my suitcase that didn't turn up as this had all my snowboard clothing in and for the first time I hadn't put a set of outerwear in my rucksack. I was given a voucher to hire outerwear until my bag arrived and this turned out to be an even bigger joke as the only place that had any for hire only had 1980's ski gear, which everybody else found highly amusing. Mr S White in the pipe.

Carol and Ian decided to have a day off today so it was just myself, Julie and Chris - pumped up on pain killers and freeze gel - who were heading up to the hill. As there hadn't been a lot of fresh snow (little tiny flakes fell most of the morning) the piste bashers had been at work - which I think pleased Chris.

No new snow today so there were plenty of groomers for Chris again. A nice sunny day but still pretty cold and for the first time since we got here there was actually a bit of a queue for some of the lifts - what's going on! So it was back to piste bashing, hunting around in the trees and looking for rollers and ledges to jump off.
