Our Homeschooling Adventure with Three. September 4, 2011. My tooth fell out! Cairn has had this EXTREMELY loose tooth for several days now. She can push it all the way forward and backward and turn it around and it still hangs on. Tooth in correctly - facing forward. Tooth #3 is out. Our Homeschooling Adventure with Three. August 7, 2015. Today, we were able to go boating again. It was a gorgeous day and Aunt Trish got to join us. Skylar and C jumped right into the tubes. They were ready to ride. Cairn was ready too. She usually isn't the first one in the water but today she was ready. Crocky was having a hard time staying straight. Cairn seemed to fight him the whole time. They are getting so brave they will even let go of the tubes now. Andrew tried his hand at driving the boat.

Our Homeschooling Adventure with Three. June 8, 2012. Today was a super hot day so we decided to do Field Day. Actually one doesn't have anything to do with the other but it was the hottest day of the year so far. Field Day had been scheduled for a month. We got to the park at 12 PM for a picnic lunch with the other COVA students (COVA is Cairn's online school). We met up with lots of friends. The three legged race. Our Homeschooling Adventure with Three. July 22, 2015. Lego Lapbook and a hike. Today the kids started on a Lego Lapbook to learn more about Lego's. We learned that Kirk Christiansen invented Lego's and he was from Denmark. The kids had to find Denmark on a map (that's hard for a little bitty country like Denmark) and then build the flag of Denmark out of Lego's. That was an easy task according to the kids. A good day with a little schoolwork, some outside time and a little routine. The Road to Serfdom.

Our Homeschooling Adventure with Three. July 30, 2015. The resort was built over several years in the early 1900's and included a covered swimming pool, stables, picnic areas and pavilions. A tent city was built where guests could rent a tent for the night or several days. These were super nice tents with floors, frames and were made of canvas. Our Homeschooling Adventure with Three. We didn't do so well on last year's goals - completed 2 of the 10 goals, partial completion of 3 of the 10 goals and didn't even touch the other 5. So we will need to do better this next year. Here goes for 2016. 1) Visit two new national parks in 2016. We have already visited. Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Capitol Reef National Park. Rocky Mountain National Park. Wind Cave in South Dakota. Zion National Park,. Bandelier National Monument,. CHECK #1 - Juniper tree.

Our Homeschooling Adventure with Three. January 7, 2012. Guess who got their ears pierced today! Weekends seem to be an endless amount of playtime while mom works hard getting the laundry finished, the house cleaned and all the odds and ends stuff done. So today I had the kids start the day with what they were going to accomplish today. I started. Mom - finish the laundry, clean 2 bathrooms, finish the book project and get my ears pierced. Andrew - get dressed and bring up some toys from the basement.
