With all of the flurry surrounding the Rumpshaker 5k next weekend, I have naturally been thinking about Aaron a lot. I certainly still miss him a great deal. But as I was thinking about Aaron this week, I was overwhelmed by feelings of life. It struck me that I have something so amazing deep inside of me that gives me joy and peace no matter what I'm going through: that something is hope. The hope I mean is more than the ability to long or expect. And hope is the result of persevering through sufferings.
