this everchanging life

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. November 29, 2012. Yup, not even December yet, and I’m calling it Christmas. We’ve had our tree up in this house since Nov. 1. Mainly because my mother never gets to enjoy the decorations for many reasons- going here and there, constantly knitpicking the tree to get the ornaments. And because she wanted to be able to spend one last Christmas with my Aunt. Aunt Donna has a little over 6 months at best to live. Harshing your mellow isn’t it? July 9, 2012. My fam...

6/16 | this everchanging life

https://thiseverchanginglife.wordpress.com/2012/06/16/616

June 16, 2012. Trying to make myself feel better about not being employed any longer. This is what I’ve come up with so far:. Good things about not having a job:. I don’t have to explain myself to more people than absolutely necessary. I can wear shorts and! I can listen to my music all day. I can take more pictures. I can bake more. I can read more. I can spend more time with Nellerbie. I can devote more time to yoga. I can make soap. Can you think of anything else? This entry was tagged optimism.

Color, Thoughts, Thoughts in Color. July 9, 2012. Sometimes I like to think and reminisce about where I’ve been and how I got to be where I am. The other day I got to thinking about this:. Colors… what can I say about them? I’ve always been surrounded by different and diverse skin tones too. As a Southern Girl in a small town, one happens to encounter racism quite often- sad as it is. Even racism against the help (and you thought it was fiction! I moved back home (yeah, sometimes I hate myself for that d...

Rant: Am I a complete Loon? July 3, 2012. 8220;I hate feeling like this. So tired of trying to fight this.” – Skillet. Anyone who knows me knows that I handle life with music. If I’m happy, I’ll play happy music. If sad I’ll play sad music and if I’m angry, etc. However right now I can’t find a song angry enough for me. Nothing that sounds like … what I’m feeling. I’m so sick of not being good enough. And you know what? This entry was tagged expectations. Color, Thoughts, Thoughts in Color →. And the who...

This Ever Changing Woman

This Ever Changing Woman. Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Project Life - How I Learned To Document Life. This has been a really fun year for me creatively as I made a commitment to complete more scrapbooking projects. If you are familiar with this very popular craft, you know that it is a very diverse, personal, time consuming, and potentially pricy activity. Shortly after Christmas, I began searching online for scapbooking layout ideas and products, and I felt completely overwhelmed! I am proud to say I am cur...

This Everyday Love

Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Leaves Falling, Time Flying. Is it me or did Fall just fly right by without even stopping to say Hi, how are you? Maybe its because the day after Halloween, the grocery store was playing Christmas music, every retail store was decorated in green and red, Santa Clause was already at the Mall asking kids what they want for Christmas, and I'm drinking from a red Starbucks cup already. Seriously, what happen to a little known holiday called Thanksgiving? Eli rode the train. Matt a...
