Living with Type 1. Thursday, July 29, 2010. I have to be a nerd for a few minutes and post about the awesome time I had at a Hanson concert two days ago with my good friend, Jackie. This blog is about caring for my 9 year old daughter who has diabetes. Thursday, June 2, 2011. What is Hiding Behind Diabetes? I have been going through a tough time with diabetes lately. If you read my last post about guilt, that sums up the main reason for my recent sadness. I can usually pull myself out of D related sadness by being positive and finding the good hiding behind Diabetes. This time, for some reason, I am taking longer to snap out of it. I am working on pulling myself out of this funk.

This blog is about caring for my 9 year old daughter who has diabetes. Monday, April 25, 2011. We just returned from a wonderful week in the Outer Banks of NC. We went with my husbands parents, my husbands brother and his family and our 4 1 (diabetes). We rented a big house on the ocean and had a blast. We got the omnipod in September so we hadn't had the summer like experience yet. I am also happy to say that the pod stayed put and didn't need to be changed and more than normal. Links to this post.

Living with Type 1. Monday, January 10, 2011. Since I have neglected my blog for the past four months or so, I felt today was as good as any to jump back in. I hope to post more steadily this year—otherwise, what’s the point, right? The biggest update I can give in the past four months would have to be the fact that I bought a new townhouse, which I’m in love with and can’t wait to move into!
