张家界 – Zhāngjiājiè. 张家界 – Zhāngjiājiè. July 13, 2016. Finally getting around to uploading these pictures from the beautiful Zhangjiajie. I visited the gorgeous national park, known as the ‘Avatar mountains’ at the beginning of May, and despite it taking 26 hours by train to get there, and then 27 hours to get back, only for two and a half days in the national park, it was totally worth it. I’m going to let the pictures do the talking here, so enjoy! Pretty happy with my poncho purchase!
