http://poetryexaminedlife.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Poetry and the Examined Life. A blog about poetry, philosophy, and other musings and observations. Thursday, December 29, 2005. I’m looking forward to the next few days because I will be off from work until Tuesday, so I should get a fair amount of writing and revision done. I also have some reading projects that I would like to launch. I also need to spend some time revising my artist colony application packet for the deadline in January. Poetry and the Examined Life: September 2005

Poetry and the Examined Life. A blog about poetry, philosophy, and other musings and observations. Friday, September 30, 2005. I felt a little foolish sitting in traffic this morning mouthing the words in Italian. I’ve listened to the first few tracks of the CD enough now that the new words and phrases are starting to sink in. If I keep at it I should be in good shape for the trip in the spring. Schubert's World of Bil-Wau: December 2006
http://theschube.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Schubert's World of Bil-Wau. Thursday, December 28, 2006. Ma Vie en Playmobil. Hello again. This week's mailbag is postponed until next Thursday as I'm waiting for questions to roll in following what I trust has been a hectic and rewarding holiday season. At my house, one of the smallfolk received My Take-Along Farm. As you can see, the good people at Playmobil. And a grey rodent (Henri). Murray's presence in our house is too new to have been included by the time My Take-Along Farm. Happy Whiskermas / Me...

Schubert's World of Bil-Wau: October 2007
http://theschube.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Schubert's World of Bil-Wau. Monday, October 15, 2007. I'm pleased that I won't be required to be part of anyone's costume this year. You hear a lot about people adopting cats just to be part of a costume or something, but I wonder how much of that really goes on. It's the same story around Easter with bunnies and chicks. Not the costume part, but the adopting an animal as an accessory. You'd have better luck trying to get a crow to perch on your shoulder. Posted by Bailey at 11:17 AM.

Schubert's World of Bil-Wau: September 2007
http://theschube.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Schubert's World of Bil-Wau. Wednesday, September 26, 2007. Last night as I sat calmly and watched a pretty wicked storm through the window, I was struck by how odd my roommates behave during a storm. They were running around and crouching at each thunder crash. The whole thing was shameful. We live in a house. The storm will not reach us as long as we stay indoors. The only thing accomplished by running around like fools is that you look, well, foolish. Posted by Bailey at 10:57 AM. But still, I wait.

Schubert's World of Bil-Wau: November 2006
http://theschube.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Schubert's World of Bil-Wau. Thursday, November 30, 2006. Okeedoke, folks. Let's see what the mail brought this week. My cat is a 4 year old, who has grey-to-black mottled patches over approximately 40% of his body. This includes both ears, though his face remains mostly white. Now, I admit hew is an excellent bird catcher and mouser, his record being 4 birds in one day. Although mature, he is a smallish cat who looks like an adolecent in size. Enlightened Folk are Without Personality;. Hmm Seems to me t...

Poetry and the Examined Life. A blog about poetry, philosophy, and other musings and observations. Sunday, April 30, 2006. Okay, this is kind of creepy. Poetry and the Examined Life: March 2006
http://poetryexaminedlife.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Poetry and the Examined Life. A blog about poetry, philosophy, and other musings and observations. Friday, March 31, 2006. I may apply again to the VCCA, or I may look into other artist colonies. I don’t remember seeing any that are nearby when I did some research online. Ideally, I wouldn’t want to travel beyond West Virginia, Maryland, or North Carolina. I have a few newly revised poems that I think are ready to go out into the world. I’ll probably send out some submissions on Monday. I had a good revi...

Poetry and the Examined Life: February 2006
http://poetryexaminedlife.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Poetry and the Examined Life. A blog about poetry, philosophy, and other musings and observations. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Poetry is a means of telling that, solitary as you are, in the act of writing a poem, you are in touch with the whole chain of being. You are always trying not only to get in touch with your most primal self, but with the whole history of the race. Sir, I admit your general rule,. That every poet is a fool,. But you yourself may serve to show it,. That every fool is not a poet.
