Reviewing the books I've read. Friday, May 23, 2014. The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay. The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay has earned a spot amongst my favorite books. The writing is amazing. I don't know how she does it, but the words flow off the page in such a way that it's almost like you aren't even reading. No joke - two. Yet, somehow, it is the perfect ending. This book has the distinct honor of my most favorite ending in a book. When I finished, I wanted to immediately turn b...I listene...

Reviewing the books I've read. Sunday, March 29, 2015. Falling Into You by Jasinda Wilder. My little guy didn't want to sleep anywhere other than next to Mommy in the middle of the night the other night, but also was restless enough I couldn't get to sleep either. So, I started a book. I read it for a couple hours until he settled and finished it while everyone watched a movie (Big Hero 6, good movie) later that afternoon. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tressa's Book Blog: August 2015
http://smithbookblog.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Reviewing the books I've read. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. The Master Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg. The Master Magician is the last book (so far, anyway) in The Paper Magician series. I didn't enjoy it quite as much as I did the other two, but I still really enjoyed it. (I'd give it 3.5 stars, which still rounds to the 4 the other books have.). I still did really enjoy this book as well. I half listened to it and half read it, so it went very quickly. Monday, August 10, 2015. The Glass Magician is boo...

Ceony and Emery are back in the cottage and she is continuing her apprenticeship. Soon enough though, another Excisioner comes for revenge.or is it revenge? Ceony and Emery grow closer, much to the dismay of one of the head magicians. We don't learn much about their pasts in this book, but we do learn a lot about them in the present.

After dark musings of a sleep-deprived mother reading through the night while the rest of the world sleeps. Sunday, November 13, 2016. The Dollhouse by Fiona Davis. Many thanks to Net Galley and Penguin for the advanced reader's copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.* *. Yet another book that's been buzzing about that I'm not sure about my feelings on. On the other hand, there were long boring stretches in which I wasn't really sure that I cared about the mystery at all. Want to read more?
