The Farrar Family Saga: October 2012
http://thefarrarfamilysaga.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 19, 2012. This Side of Heaven. The last 3 days have been a bit chaotic, and filled with lots of information which has been a bit overwhelming. I felt talking about today's neurologist visit, would be easier via blog than via Facebook, so here we go. Yesterday Brady had an MRI at St. Mary's hospital. He did great during the MRI, and handled his anesthesia like a champion! Thank you for all of your prayers and encouragement. Monday, October 15, 2012. Fear is a Beast. I remember being a bit ...

So, we open our mouths and insert our feet! When you don't know what to say, it is probably best NOT to say anything! We had already picked names for the baby! We had a boy and a girl name, Caleb and Emma. We were in love with that baby. The blog I read this morning, is a GREAT read for miscarriage etiquette! Emma Caleb January 2009.

The Farrar Family Saga: October 2013
http://thefarrarfamilysaga.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 18, 2013. To my beloved Brady,. Today marks one year since we received your diagnosis. The time seems to have flown by. Over the last. Year, you have met so many of our goals, and we have celebrated some amazing accomplishments. When we started this journey, you were only 9 months old, and now we are quickly approaching your 2nd birthday! The only moment that tops it was hearing you say your name! It was a surprise that I was not expecting, and I am so thankful I caught it on camera!

The Farrar Family Saga: September 2012

Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Road Trip ToDo List! I had a short list of things that I wanted to do on our most recent trip home. This list consisted of only things that I can't do unless I'm in Greensboro! We arrived in Greensboro about 2pm on Wed, September 19, and we stayed until yesterday morning. My list of "Greensboro Only" items was as follows. Abbie loves her new shoes! They put the tongue pads in free of charge, and her shoes fit great! Next on my list was Juice Shop. This was virtually one o...

The Farrar Family Saga: May 2013

Saturday, May 11, 2013. My name is Jessica, and I am agoraphobic. So, the title of this post is not 100% true, however. I am beginning to wonder if it is becoming true. This October will be my 4 year anniversary of staying home. When I was 5 months pregnant with Abbie, I was laid off from my job. I started drawing unemployment, and while applying for jobs. learned that no one wants to hire someone who is 6 months pregnant! NOTE TO FRIENDS WHO READ THIS. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Saturday, July 6, 2013. And all the while I feel like I'm standing in the middle of a crowded room, screaming at the top of my lungs, and no one even looks up.". Kate Winslet - Titanic. I found a great connection and comfort in the support group. I am so so thankful for the parents who have joined and who have provided me a place to field questions, seek answers, and find parents just like me. confused, seeking help, and dealing with the daily ins and outs of PMG. The Farrar Family Saga: A Little Masterpiece
http://thefarrarfamilysaga.blogspot.com/2014/06/a-little-masterpiece.html
Friday, June 20, 2014. Brady works hard in physical therapy weekly. Some days the work load of the session leads to an early and very elongated nap! We push him to try new things and step outside of his very small comfort zone. Since it wasn't "miserable" this morning, we ventured outdoors to try something new. PAINTING! Brady enjoyed the new activity very much, and did an excellent job standing for the entire time he painted his beautiful picture! I love this sweet little guy! June 20, 2014 at 8:08 AM.

Friday, July 18, 2014. A Whole New World. Yes, that was an Aladdin reference! However, we did venture into a brand new world today! The world of sensory happiness! A place where all of Brady's unique cravings and desires were met, and he was content. There are no other Pediatric OTs in the area that work specifically with children who have sensory needs. This office has 5 therapists on staff that are PHENOMENAL! I had so much fun watching him laugh, smile, and enjoy himself for the entire hour and a half!

http://thefarrarfamilysaga.blogspot.com/2014/06/the-in-laws-arrived.html
Wednesday, June 18, 2014. The In Laws Arrived! Derik's parents arrived this morning, and the kids were over the moon excited to see them both! It has been 3 months since we were last able to visit, and they are staying for 5 days this trip. We spent a while trying to get the grocery situation squared away today, but we were able to enjoy a yummy dinner together! Derik was able to take off work today, so it was nice to be able to spend the day with us all together. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Farrar Family Saga: 2014, Is it seriously half way over???
http://thefarrarfamilysaga.blogspot.com/2014/06/2014-is-it-seriously-half-way-over.html
Tuesday, June 17, 2014. 2014, Is it seriously half way over? Where has the first half of this year gone? Seriously. can we already 5 1/2 months away from Christmas? It is a little bit shocking that it has been 6 months since we celebrated the start of a New Year. However, when I stop and think about everything that this year has held for our family thus far, I can totally understand why half of the year has flown by so quickly. We went to 2 gymnastics meets,. A Utes basketball game,. It was an incredible...
