With some notable encouragement and guidance from flickr friends, my energy in building my photographic skills has been re-charged. I'm looking to purchase a photograhic printer next, with which to produce prints from my noteworthy digital images. The darkroom awaits with thoughts of different papers and techniques as well. Thursday, April 12, 2007. I really have no complaints this morning. It's a beautiful day, Matt's getting out of the hospital, and I got the rare opportunity to sleep in. There's always a long list of to-do's but what gets done will get done and what doesn't will wait. There's a bit of running around this morning which will kind of shoot the day.but that's okay too. This is what is. The Sockeye are Back. August 27, 2010. Sockeye Salmon have returned to the Fraser River in BC! The Globe has a small slideshow of photos with the story. They’re not exceptional but the story itself is pretty surprising. To me, at least. Last year, barely one million salmon made the run and this year it’s expected to be 25 million!
