Sunday, December 19, 2010. Well, we had our Christmas this morning and all the presents have been unwrapped. The girls sure were excited when they did their scavenger hunt for their new bikes! We are sure to have an exciting time and I expect to come back several pounds lighter with all of the activities we'll be doing. It's not a 4-star comfort trip, it's a backpacking and hostel trip. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Simply "Flat" Christmas Card. I decided to do a "flatter" and simple card this time and put my dimensional. S away. This card used simple cuts and a variety of papers. The circle is embellished with marker lines since the brown paper and all of the ornaments had swirls and designs on them. I inked the edges fairly heavily. I love aging the paper. Some few stitches. I even kept the inside of this one very simple with a strip of sticker running down the edge! Very Merry Tags card.

Saturday, October 30, 2010. Well, the Halloween treat bags were a hit with the Girl Guiders! Today, I am just going to post some pictures of a few more Thank You cards I've done. Maybe they'll give you some ideas. I need to continue to work on creating cards. Some turn out so much better than others! There is that coffee cup again. I really like how it cuts. Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Gift Box and Card Set. Yeh, I finally had a chance to download some pics off my hubby's camera, so here is the gift box and card set that I mentioned in the last post. The box is just the right size for A2 cards and envelopes. It is called My Creations Card Box and retails for $5.50 Canadian. The first thing that I did was inked the edges of the box (it's originally white) with my Chocolate Distressing Ink from my distressing kit. Without further ado, here are the cards!

Monday, March 14, 2011. So I haven't been able to post any new pictures lately as my camera still isn't functioning. I have used my hubby's camera but cannot find the cord for uploading so I am still without pictures. However, with my birthday coming, I am hopeful that this issue will be resolved. Monday, May 16, 2011. Still no camera, but I did win something! I can't believe that I still don't have a camera to replace the one that I got wet in Belize this winter! This is very frustrating as I have done several projects that I want to post, including a mini album with a "dance" theme. I guess I'd better check and see if I have enough Air Miles to get a simple camera and add the camera that I want to my Christmas wish list! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
