No. I decided to create a page on this blog so others can look at photos of what it’s like to live here in a village, as well as my friends and family. My new host family tells me, that come wi...

This Man's Life
Tuesday, March 10, 2015 Posted by Rick Hastings. 8220;Dad, he’s here! I opened the door and saw him standing off to the right. He was wearing a blue jacket, unzipped, and carried a small toolbox. 8221; I said. “Come on in.”. A clang followed by a hollow ringing as the small, empty propane tank rolled on its side across my front step. 8220;I knocked something over,” he said, pointing in the general direction of where he had stood. 8220;Where is it? 8221; he asked. I pointed at the dishwasher. 8220;There i...

This Man's Opinion
Thursday, October 13, 2005. I couldn't take it anymore. I needed a place to release my ideas, thoughts, and passion for life. Totally opposite of what the Christian Republican community has given us over the last five years. These are the dark times. Saturday, November 24, 2007. The 10 Lies Of Disordered Sexual Activity. I thought I would list some of the common lies I hear whispered in my moments of weakness, and their proper response:. I'm incapable of winning this battle. This, of course, is tantamount to waving the white flag. I need to accept the various levels of culpability for my past failures as well as the victory I will achieve by God's grace. There's nothing I can do about my compulsion. This babe is so. This Man... This Monster!
This Man. This Monster! Not an imaginary tale! Thursday, September 07, 2006. Lettering is a bitch. In the old days, artists like Sam Rosen or Art Simek would painstakingly write each and every word by hand. Today, companies like Blambot and Richard Starking's ComicCraft use Adobe Illustrator and a multitude of fonts, often based directly on the handwriting of the old masters, to put words in our favorite character's mouths. Posted by Charlie @ 1:21 PM. Thursday, July 27, 2006. It's a veritable hog heaven...
