Thursday, July 9, 2009. Wimbledon - The Williams Sisters. It is always nice to see Venus and Serena reach a tournament championship against one another because I imagine it is the culmination of them as young girls training and pushing each other to be their best. As nice as it is to see them reach the final, it is usually a less than riveting match to actually watch because they (Venus in particular) never seem to give 100%. I am glad to remain unfulfilled and watch subpar tennis for two reasons.
