Zakka Inspired: a craft blog: Kawaii Origami Strawberry Box
http://zakkainspired.blogspot.com/2010/06/kawaii-origami-strawberry-box.html
Kawaii Origami Strawberry Box. I love fresh strawberries, plain with no fussy chocolate or sugar coatings. Living in the middle of the Pacific Ocean one can only dream to find a basketful of sweet, tender strawberries . without blowing the family budget. So in our backyard is a small pot with lovely, healthy strawberry plants. The problem? Something was eating my strawberries! Hubby thinks the culprit is a lizard playing in the plants. Really? Do lizards eat strawberries? Here is my pattern with notes.

Project 6 : Whew! My latest project, is a most adorable felt applique tote. I hesitated at attempting this project, with a seemingly huge lot of pieces to cut and hand sew, the effort seemed daunting. But the cute design won me over. My savior for this project was TRACING paper, using it for pattern pieces, placements, and embroidery lines. And you know what? This project turned out to be a joy . and it didn't take as long as I expected. I'm going to have to add this book to my FAV book list! Instruction...

I have decided to put my blog on hold for a while. Things happen. Don't worry about me please, I'm a-ok, just a bit stressed about a family situation (nope, not with my grouchy hubbby who is actually a good fella). I know several of you just joined in as followers and I thank you. I thank you all. Maybe I'll be back but I know only of this moment. Thank you all so much for your support. I will continue visits to your blogs to keep in touch. Project 9 : An Elegant Rabbit Brooch. I'm still enjoying my Holy...

Zakka Inspired: a craft blog: About Me
http://zakkainspired.blogspot.com/p/irashaimasu-welcome.html
Welcome to my Zakka Inspired blog. I am so very inspired and awed by the works of Japanese crafters. This blog is a way to nuture a similar spirit to make handmade items that are simple, with charming slight imperfections, and that will coax a smile even from . my hubby! My mom and dad always kept active and busy through their lives and I find myself doing the same. Last year, I created a cookbook to help raise money to contribute to the American Cancer Society. I thinks Me needs a Challenge. Quite often after a project I find myself in a quandary as to what to make next. It's a bit silly to be in such a dilemma with nearly a hundred Japanese craft books in my collection! So I offered myself a challenge.of sorts : To make at least one project from 50 books by the end of the year. Oh yes, many a fine blogger have subjected themselves to such challenges, be it taking photos every day, or baking through an entire book, writing thank you notes, or? Want to make some?

My LOL Refashioned Apron and a Mini Bento Box Bag Tutorial. I envy a person who could care less of what other folks think about how she dresses, crafts, keeps her home, occupies her time, wears her hair, how loud she guffaws (HAHAHA). I'll always take pause when I spot a person with a strong individuality oozing out of her being; a person loving her spirit and being comfortable with one's self. Me? Aunty, WHAT are you WEARING? Me in My Head :. Oh ohnow I feel silly wearing it. Or "what the heck! Without ...

Ms M's Bliss: August 2011
http://msmsbliss.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
A space and a place to share my thoughts, projects, reflections .and a space to hear yours too! Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Could this be recovery. Does anyone else have laundry mountains/volcanoes (that threaten to explode) instead of laundry piles? This is my laundry mountain. This was my post on Face Book last night - it drew quite a few responses and I know that I am not alone! I've come to the conclusion there are at least three constants in life: taxes, toilet paper and laundry! Since Saturday I ha...

A space and a place to share my thoughts, projects, reflections .and a space to hear yours too! Monday, January 23, 2012. Baby, baby, baby oh. Let me see, where HAVE I been. after feverishly promising to keep blogs updated, blah, blah, blah I discovered all my energy was needed to grow a baby! Yes, we are expecting baby number 3 at the end of July (currently we're heading into week 14). I imagine my blog may become somewhat baby focused, but bear with me, I am still staying crafty. Wool is Crucci 8 Ply D...
