Sunday, February 28, 2010. A story behind my profile picture . . . The care he received at Children's was phenomenal. They were waiting for us when we arrived. Getting an iv in his little arm was almost, if not more, traumatic than the intial burn. I tried to hold him still, but I didn't have the strength. My little boy is tiny but strong! All of the skin that got burned was burned through two layers of thick clothing. It could have been his bare hands, or his bare face, or his eyes! The songs we sing.

Monday, June 20, 2011. My Dog, Lucy. We have had Lucy for about twenty months. She is the best dog ever and a wonderful addition to our family. Some of the few things I love about Lucy. She is so calm and gentle. She rarely gets spun up. She is super friendly, but not in a sweet, non-obnoxious way. She loves her kennel.it is truly her "happy place.". She doesn't bark (except to yip to let us know she's ready to come in). She minds better than the kids. LOL. She loves her duck toy. See all that hair?

For so loving a King. The crafty things I did yesterday. Another fun chalk paint project. Continued construction on church. Chalk board painted tea tins. Life as we know it. Not sure where to put this one. Found this totally cool vintage horse ridding helmit at the thrift store for $2! I let my Nini girl have it and the next morning she came down dressed like this . . .
