Well blog readers… Tooshy has been slowly dying and last night packed it in. While in safe mode I was thankfully able to back up all of my photos and other important info. It was a fun morning as well trying to sort out the warranty which was stuffed up when purchased so there will be even more of a delay. Miss my blog (and my computer) already.

Yes I have been told but I guess my one and only blog fan🙂 (thanks Janelle who was also the 1st of my 365). This last week went by in a blur. Some big news on the letter writing front is that with a lot of help of many people I now have 97 people signed up to receive mail from me! Ever so slightly excited about that.

Thursday, January 21, 2010. Today has been almost perfect weather for kite flying - a little bit cloudy, so it's not too hot, and breezy to help the kites fly. Olivia got her kite for her birthday - but we haven't had a chance to take it to be flown yet - so that was today's mission - try to get her kite to fly. Thursday, July 30, 2009. I mentioned before about our loungeroom reno - see here. If you want to read or see dodgy paintbrush pictures. So we've made a start - OK hubby and my Dad made a start and removed the fireplace and mantle piece and hubby then put a new piece of plaster board to cover the hole. And we've started patching it up! It should only be about 2-3 weeks before our new couch arrives - *happy dance* so I'd LIKE to get it finished before then. So here are some pics of the before and after.

Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Holiday Fun - Strawberries! Today I decided it would be good to go and do something with the kids that we hadn't done before, so we went strawberry picking. The strawberry farm is about 20 minutes from home (if that) and very reasonably priced for picking your own strawberries! Olivia in there picking the Strawberries! Alexander wondering why Mum has to. Take the darn camera everywhere! It didn't take long before we had a kilo of fresh strawberries and two very happy children!

Saturday, February 13, 2010. I’d started off this year with great intentions of keeping things (like this blog) up-to-date! But there has been a bit of a bump in that road in the form of work! Normally I work one day a week (office G), and every other weekend (office R). Occasionally I work for a week or two if someone is on leave in another office (office A), but it's only 3-4 weeks per year. So I now drive an hour each way to work – which is a bit different from the usual 5 minute drive! Winner Winner ...
