Happy VD, everybody! I was looking for an idea of a craft to do at Finn's class Valentine party. I found the stained-glass heart idea. I do love it so. So far I've been making these all day. They are just fun, and easy, and so so cute. I love sun-catchers and am always looking for ones I like. Although I usually never buy them. But now, I have all of these! And we can make new ones for each holiday (shamrocks, Easter eggs, flags, Christmas trees, etc) or just whenever. Construction paper (which I had).

That about sums it up…. So, along with a few other pictures that were on the camera card, that about sums up 2011. I hope you've enjoyed the updates this year. I enjoy giving them to you. I love Bjork. In high school and college I especially loved her. I loved her growling sometimes screaming but mostly her crazy beautiful voice. Swan dress and all I love her. So that song is what played during our father/daughter dance at my wedding. And maybe no one understood at all. Or maybe, like my dad, some of the more experienced folks could pick out the tune and appreciate the choice. Or maybe my dad's just a really special guy. Yeah, I'm going with that last one. Oh the poor neglected blog. Oddly enough I hardly ever sit down to the computer anymore because I do everything on my phone or ipad. So to compile pictures and content for the blog gets back-burnered and then it's 7 months behind. But let me get caught up, and perhaps this app will breathe new life into this weary blog. And they’re off…. After about a month of lounging around the house, we are back in full swing. I left the house at 8 and didn’t really get home until 8. Yep that’s how it goes around here. Today was our first day back at school, I had 2 different doctor’s appointments, got my face lasered, and had our first night of ice skating lessons. I heart chickens. We bought 5 little baby chicks on March 10. They were born on March 6. So tomorrow they will be 2 weeks old. Boy they sure are fun. We are in the process of designing a coop which we will hopefully start next weekend (I almost just said "nest" weekend. hilarious.). Anyway, I will make do with reading her books and blog. Taking pictures of my cute little chickens, and dreaming of being a real, live farmer. Feature=mhee to see the chicky videos I've uploaded (I'll be putting more up soon)!
