Sunday, February 12, 2012. I love this picture of Dane. This is him running toward me after preschool. He LOVES it! Check out all the stickers on his shirt for being AWESOME! Chewy got a haircut! This is his face shot! This is Scott and his "band". It was SO cute. Dane kept saying "we are playing instruments together" He wanted me to play too, but Scott left his other guitar at work, so I used a tennis racket. Macy looks SO SMALL in this picture. Saturday, October 1, 2011. This is me and my 8 1/2 belly making Dane's Captain America Cake! We went to my parent's house for the celebration. They had it all decked out with Captain America stuff! What a nice surprise! Dane didn't want us to sing the Happy Birthday song, (he told me beforehand that it makes him sad. He just wanted to be 3! We sang it anyway! He just sat there and growled! Then he very happily blew out the candle! He never ate a piece of cake though.oh well! How old are you now?

Sunday, January 22, 2012. Babies always look cute close up! I wish I did. A super hero and his side-kick. These are Dane's chore charts. Every time he does his chores for the day he gets a quarter. He has figured money out! He saved $4.00 and bought a toy last week! What a big boy! Speaking of big boy, he learned how to write his name at pre-school! Scott is working on his bread making skills. This one was garlic/green onion. SO GOOD! She really liked it. This has nothing to do with Chewy!

This is no myspace. Monday, December 10, 2007. I did this watercolour of a sunset I took. not exactly the best photo, but I seem to have mostly portraiture on this comp. Jul 28th, 2015. For the past few months I’ve been experimenting with trying out the hand techniques I learnt in Ghana on a monofilament warp. This was to highlight the structure of the woven fabric with the use of clear yarn - and I ended up with some interesting pieces! Since setting up the dobby loom I’ve continued exploring this avenue, making more similar pieces with added embroidery inspired by woven cloth from Mali and Guinea-Bissau. Jul 23rd, 2015. Monday, December 16, 2013. Christmas gifts for teachers. I always try to make sure I get the kids' teachers a little something to say Merry Christmas each year. It's also a good time to say a big 'Thank You' for all the work and time they put into teaching.
