Mealy and I: October 2013
http://mealyandi.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Making the most of our {bonus} Kinder year. I won't ever look back on this year and wish that I had sent Baden to school when he should have started with his peers. Apart from getting to spend some special time with my little boy, it has also been fantastic for him. He has grown and developed so much this year and his language and social skills are far better then this time last year. I've completly failed Blogtober this year. Oh well. There is always next year. Anyway, Whils...

Mealy and I: August 2014
http://mealyandi.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 18, 2014. To say that Amelia is in love with this Perri Pullover. Would be an understatement. I made it a few weeks ago from fabric that I purchased off of the $2 table at Darn Cheap Fabrics. She is getting so much wear out of it and there will be more (in fact there is already a second cut out for her and one for me that I will get to when my over locker is back from getting repaired). I also thought that I would join in with Little White Dove's: Pinspired posts. Sunday, August 17, 2014.

Mealy and I: April 2015
http://mealyandi.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 20, 2015. Glen Isla {Test Knit}. As the weather starts to cool here in Australia we start to see the designers from Oz crank out the patterns. I love nothing more than test knitting for Tikki. And when she said she was after test knitters I again stuck my knitting needles high in the air. This beanie was meant to be for me. What do you think the chances of getting it back are? Pattern : Glen Isla. Yarn : Evoke Hand Dyed Yarns: Four Bags Full Merino. Biggan Designs (8ply) Magenta for the brim.

Mealy and I: November 2014
http://mealyandi.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 5, 2014. From fabric to a ball gown in a week. With a ball to attend I wanted to make a dress to wear. I true Kylie fashion I left it until the 11th hour before actually starting it. From fabric to ball gown in a week. I started with an idea from a picture. Fabric was purchased and a calico toile was constructed. Having the choice to wear either long or short to this event I was torn as to what I would do and truth be known is why I put this off for so long. Who's idea was this? Strai...

The LeFort Urban Homestead. Growing, Building, Cooking, Preserving, Crafting. Growing, Building, Cooking, Preserving, Crafting. 2006 began our urban homestead when I broke ground on a garden, which now includes perennial fruits, flowers, and many vegetable varieties. We dream of solar panels, keeping bees and hens. Until then we'll continue growing and preserving our own fruits and vegetables, building what we can for our home, cooking from scratch, and crafting most days. My Journey With Food. I've been...
