Friday, May 30, 2008. I met a hummingbird the other day. It was the second one I've seen in San Francisco. I wish I had a picture. He was grey-brown, with a bright magenta throat and a white belly. Monday, July 28, 2008. The Sweetness of Sleep. It was kind of surreal coming home. There was the rose garden, the fountain. Just as usual. But I was different. I didn’t feel quite like the same person. But then again, I realized, I was delirious from lack of sleep and a 7-hour plane ride. I have a backlog of things to post, but for now, let’s just say I am home, I am safe, I am happy. I did my traveling. I got my France. And I my Ikea bed was here to welcome me. Links to this post.
