Thursday, December 11, 2008. Working in the Tintoria. Well, as is our custom (Justina and I), we "work" at the Chiodini Tintoria every Tues and Friday. Here is a video to show you around a little bit. I go to hopefully help a little bit, and Justina gets spoiled. Will, Luke, and I (along with other members of the Marcallo band) are going to accompany the little kids at the concert on the 18th. I suggested to Frank to buy me that machine and his face went purple! C u soon great woman.

Saturday, December 13, 2008. We went with Mario and Mariuccia to a see how salami is made. They were a little worried we were spies from America coming to steal their secrets. I asked where all the young people were so they can learn how to make this salami. Not here was the answer. We saw the ears, the legs/feet, and then the "special salami" made with the testicles, lungs, and snout.yum oh, don't forget the Italian Coca Cola.just a touch of pig blood. Saturday, August 30, 2008. I have to say ( and people would probably think I'm crazy if I didn't ) that Venice was the BEST stop EVER! We got on this huge ship to go over there, and when we were on we saw these strange boats, like a hearse boat (you'll know what I mean when you see the pics.) When we landed we walked to St. Mark's Square, and let me say, it was LOADED with pigeons! After that, since we had tickets to boat all day, we got on a sort of tour boat and went all the way down the Grand Canal!

Monday, September 29, 2008. We got a later start than I wanted to this morning. We have tickets to have an audience with the Pope! Long story shorter, we watched on the big screen and after 20 min. spotted Keith et al coming out of the gate. They got through the gate but not into the building. bummer PLUS they missed some of the audience while they continued to wait. We did get our blessing so it was all good in the end.
