Thursday, May 10, 2012. Connor is 2 months! I can't believe that Connor is already two months old! He definitely is a growing boy! He went for his check up the other day and is in the 90% percentile for weight! He was born at 7 lbs 6 oz. Now, two months later, he is 14 lbs. When the weather is nice, we have been visiting parks and sometimes just laying in my parent's backyard with the bouncy house all set up. Thursday, April 19, 2012. Before I head back to work, we decided to take a mini vacation to Great Wolf Lodge. We enjoyed every minute! If you haven't been before, it is a great place for kids. They have tons of activities to keep you occupied for days. Unfortunately, we had to head back early because of a sick child. Sunday, October 16, 2011. It was a pleasant surprise when Thom came home early Saturday afternoon. We took advantage of the time and decided to head to Spooner Farms for some fall fun! It has been two years since we last came and let me just tell you, it gets better and better as Aidan gets older. We had a fun filled day with Uncle Joel and Auntie Liz at Spooner Farms! In the medical community today they are actually working towards removing the word "mental retardation" from literature and replacing it with other terms like intellectual developmental disorder, intellectual disability or intellectually challenged. I personally would rather use the words "special abilities" instead, because honestly my child is rocking every ability he has to the fullest and that is what counts. Love / Hate relationship.
