Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted: The Mask
http://brianandmandymac.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-mask.html
Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted. Tuesday, March 10, 2015. No, this is not a picture of an overcast day. This is smoke- the cause of the black lung- that has descended on our city in full force. And gross. Just so gross! And now we are all ready to venture outside into the never-ending fire-pit in hopes that we won't get the black lung. And would you just look at Little Doogie Howser 1, 2 and 3. Are they not the cutest? He's covered from head to toe. But God promised that when I walked through the fire He w...

Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted: May 2015
http://brianandmandymac.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted. Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Fun Things Around Town. Out here in the wild wild heat, there are a ton of fun things to do. Here's a look into the last few weeks and how we take HOT, hard, HOT, stressful, and HOT days and still manage to have some fun moments. Giant milky fruit smoothies at the open market. These things are my favorite. Selfies in daddy's hats. These boys make me swoon. Stirring boiling elephant poo to turn into elephant poo paper. This really needs no caption.

Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted: Isaiah's Two!
http://brianandmandymac.blogspot.com/2015/04/isaiahs-two.html
Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted. Saturday, April 25, 2015. Our littlest Bug is TWO! Dear Jesus, unbreak my heart! His birthday pancake which he couldn't have been less enthused by. His birthday consisted of all things golf. Shocker. He even got to hit two whole trays of balls by himself at the driving range. And as "airbuses" flew overhead while he hit balls, he was in his own little version of heaven. I did a golf cake (not my best cake ever) which he totally didn't get. Fail! We are for you!

Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted: Water Fight
http://brianandmandymac.blogspot.com/2015/04/water-fight.html
Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted. Monday, April 20, 2015. What started out as a New Year's Festival to wash away sins has turned into a massive country wide-water fight. When the whole city shuts down for three days to throw water at each other, things can get pretty wild. And "wild" is most definitely an understatement. The whole city is in a CRAZY, albeit friendly, water fight. Brian stopped off and got us some bigger guns, but still, we were easily defeated. But my goodness, we had a wet and wild blast.

Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted: Made to Worship
http://brianandmandymac.blogspot.com/2015/04/made-to-worship.html
Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted. Monday, April 13, 2015. Peace is foreign. Hope nonexistent. True love, unknown. There is still much I don't understand about this new world and its religion. I may never grasp the history and reasons for why they do what they do. But I have a sweet message for them, the same message I carried to Macedonia. Peace has come. Hope is here. There is true love for the taking. He is holy, but oh! Who is worthy of our worship. Brian, Mandy, Kate, Thomas, and Isaiah. The End is Near.

Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted: Sticky Falls and The Walking Street
http://brianandmandymac.blogspot.com/2015/03/sticky-falls-and-walking-street.html
Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted. Saturday, March 28, 2015. Sticky Falls and The Walking Street. Hiking through the cool mountain water is the way to hike in this green jungle heat. We had a blast climbing up and down the falls- I'm talking off the charts on the fun-ness scale. It is a giant natural (with the major on the nature. We all loved it and will make it a regular stop. And you can see more pictures of our waterfall shenanigans here. There's wrapped veggies, also known as the spring roll, served wit...

Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted: My Tiny Little Baby... A Precious Life
http://brianandmandymac.blogspot.com/2013/01/my-tiny-little-baby-precious-life.html
Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted. Wednesday, January 23, 2013. My Tiny Little Baby. A Precious Life. My five and three year old understand that there is a living baby inside mommy and that they have to be careful not to hurt him. They understand that mommy has to be careful with what she does because she wants to take care of this little one God has given us, and yet some of the most educated people in the world would have us believe that if I. Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted: A Goodbye, A Hello and Some Stuff In Between
http://brianandmandymac.blogspot.com/2015/01/a-goodbye-hello-and-some-stuff-in.html
Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted. Monday, January 19, 2015. A Goodbye, A Hello and Some Stuff In Between. We did it. We got on the plane and made our way all the way to warm and sunny SE Asia. The last few days in cold and cloudy Ohrid were every bit of cold and cloudy. It was tough. We spent every minute we could with the people we love there. It was precious and sweet. Hard, but sweet. Five days before we left, we threw a massive party and invited nearly everyone we had ever gotten semi-close to. We said ...

Redeemed, Rooted and Rerouted. Monday, September 08, 2014. This video is one of those that I could watch 100 times and it would still send a chill up my spine. It would still make the hairs on my arms stand up. It would still make me want to Risk. It. All. Risking it all and following Jesus - A Future City - David Platt. Brian, Mandy, Kate, Thomas, and Isaiah. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Rice Fields in SE Asia. We are loving Jesus, loving each other, loving the world, by His grace. The End is Near.
