November 13, 2012. Evan played soccer again this fall and loved it. It took him a while to get over the disappointment of not being allowed to play football, but he was happy once the season started. He is such a go getter. He always gives 100% and is such a good player. He has a passion for sports and it shows. Always glad when grandma and grandpa can come to a game. December 2, 2010. I am so excited for Christmas this year. I have been busy trying to decorate our house while trying to collect decorations for the homeless shelter. Our youth went to the shelter last night and decked the place out. I am so glad it is over so I can concentrate on finishing up our decorations. I love Christmas and want to make lots of memories with my kiddies this year. This one cracks me up. Chloe was so not wanting to sit on Santa's lap. Thoughts from friends (2). It's Been a While.

November 28, 2012. Chloe made/brought home these costumes from preschool. Her teacher is awesome! She does so many things with the kids. Chloe loves her. Evan was not very happy about wearing this. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at the Burtons. It was a small crowd this year, but it was a nice relaxing day. It is tradition that every Thanksgiving they shoot clay pigeons. It is what it is, a five alarm fire and there is not a whole lot left but mangled metal, ash and cinder block. In the End, It Doesn't Matter. Before I was expecting it and wishing for it fervently? That would have been nice. I guess what's making me the most uncomfortable is the talk of induction. I really don't want to induce. I want the surprise of "Oh, this is it! He doesn't need to be in there any longer for any development purposes—let's get him out. And it's tempting. I just want to see my little boy and hold him. I want him to be ok. I want my body to do this. Hooray for the day when he will be here.
