The month of June was spent in Ketchikan for a medical internship, and I was fortunate to have amazing docs to work with, and full access to Ketchikan General Hospital to watch surgery, births, etc. They say it rains all the time in Ketchikan, but I think it only rained maybe five or six days out of the month I was there- I left with a little sunburn. Hiking up Dude Mt. I used the soft flash to illuminate my face on this self-portrait, and it looks so fake and weird to me. 1- Thomas and Rose.

Flew to LitnikLand with uncle Rob- got off the float plane at the lake and immediately floated the river to the cabin, found the greenhouse thriving, two fine fellows enjoying camplife, all gracious enough to let me stay and play for a few days. I was fortunate to arrive just in time for the first sockeye of the year (on the barbeque). Happy guy: steelhead fishing, morel bonanza a la subsistence saturday adorning fresh smoky salmon burgers on the grill, and of course, it's always sunny at Litnik.
