Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Water Tanks in Rosario, Argentina. Every roof in Rosario has a water tank. These pictures are just a few outside my apartment windows. Some water tanks are covered by cement blocks and other are just left open. It is summer in Argentina and right now the water comes out of the faucet very warm because it is so hot outside! It just heats up our water tank, think solar water heater! Let's play, how many water tanks can you find in each picture? He is a very brave man! Police d...

The Wheatley Buzz: April 2015
http://wheatleybuzz.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 27, 2015. We are always on the lookout for cool old cars and sometimes we find some very old cars! Cool, well used Fiat. Blue 1965 Chevy Nova Coupe. Clean. Note the Vintage Peugot 404. Lot's of 404's and 504's on the streets. Ford manufactured the 1960 Ford Falcon for over 30 years and they are still all over. Here's a rare VW bug. We've seen a few pretty sweet VW buses too. Cars are expensive so they care for their cars, repair them and keep them on the road. More cute Fiat 600's. It was a...

The Wheatley Buzz: Rosario Wires
http://wheatleybuzz.blogspot.com/2015/06/rosario-wires.html
Wednesday, June 3, 2015. This city is full of wires! Everywhere you look someone has added another wire to the mix. We have had a few power outages and one lasted for 1 1/2 hours, it was 106 degrees with no wind, it was not pleasant! In the wind the wires really start swaying back and forth. We have some pretty strong winds down here too! The picture below is of our bed being hauled up the front of our building. I still don't know how they missed hitting all the wires! http://wheatleybuzz.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2015. Look who came to visit us! It took them 3 days flying standby on Delta to get here! But they look fabulous for spending 3 days in various airports and 2 red eye flights to get here! FYI, the Buenos Aires Temple is very close and on the way to the International Airport! The Argentina MTC is also located on the Temple area. We did a little sight seeing in BA. Plaza de Mayo (1810) and Casa Rosada (1850). He has a tomb just like Napoleons' in Paris! The weather turned out to be pr...

http://wheatleybuzz.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 31, 2015. It's Fall in Rosario. We are seeing lots of yellow and red colors. Squash and pumpkins of every size and shape are in the market. These potatoes are in the store to buy and they actually look pretty clean. I've seen so much dirt on them that you can't see what color they are. These pictures look better than what they really are, most are caked in mud! In fact, these pictures are considered washed! We have to really watch the sidewalks now. Monday, May 25, 2015. Otherwise the car exh...

So our final goodbye was held at La Estancia Restaurant on Pelligrini Street in Rosario. It is our favorite place to eat! It has the best beef in Rosario! Our portero is ...

Sunday, June 7, 2015. Construction is interesting down here and there is construction on every block! The scaffolding is very interesting and scary! It makes me nervous to just walk under them! Below is a porta potty and a portable construction office on wheels with a pop up window! I thought the buildings were all cement, nope! I need to learn, "watch out below" in Spanish! These guys are hoisting up these boards to the top floor. They didn't spend too much time tying their Boy Scouts security knots!
