http://peacocktalk.blogspot.com/2013/03/wow-is-it-true-is-my-baby-already.html
Journey To the Real World! Thursday, March 21, 2013. Is my baby already twelve? I still can't believe it. Jaxon is 12! I've been reminiscing about his life and wanted to share a few of my thoughts. I cried as my heart filled to capacity with love when my little man was born! Something was special about MY boy. It's been such a relief to finally have it known and learn to deal with it properly. He's a smart boy! He's a good boy! And he's growing into such a great young man! This kid's gonna go far! Since ...

Peacock Talk: Warning: photo overload! Viewers beware!
http://peacocktalk.blogspot.com/2011/07/warning-photo-overload-viewers-beware.html
Journey To the Real World! Tuesday, July 12, 2011. There are a bunch of pics on this post so I'll let them do most of the talking. I put them in reverse order and I'm not bright enough (& do not have the patience) to fix it, so bummer. Most of you are family and know what they're about anyway. Happy viewing. These 4 KIDS did great in the 1 mile fun run! They all beat Cody but he had his best time! This kid can't get enough of his baby sister! Jetta's blessing was beautiful. The 5k-ers. WOOOOOOT! I am gla...

http://scissortalk.blogspot.com/2012/12/let-good-times-roll.html
Cody, Erica, Lilly and Bethany. Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Let the good times roll. Being silly. She's wearing her big girl panties. Lilly and her cousin that is six months older than her love to play together at Grandma Nielson's house. Everyday Lilly asks to go to Grandma's to play. I can only take it sometimes.however, it really is rather cute most days. All ready to go see Santa. Beth loves to get into everything of Lilly's. She's wearing Lilly's sunglasses and loving life. Since December is here an...

http://peacocktalk.blogspot.com/2011/05/here-are-some-random-pics-and-stories.html
Journey To the Real World! Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Here are some random pics and stories to go with them. Jacey's good at not letting the cat out of the bag! This is Jentz. He is 2! Those are nursing pads. 'Nuff said. Here's my sweetie pie. Babies are so angelic when they're sleeping. While boiling eggs for Easter, one sorta popped open but didn't break off, leaving half of the yolk just hanging out. It looked so funny. But I drew a face on it to give it some character. How crazy is that? Jacey and her ca...

Cody, Erica, Lilly and Bethany: Happenings since March
http://scissortalk.blogspot.com/2012/07/happenings-since-march.html
Cody, Erica, Lilly and Bethany. Sunday, July 15, 2012. So I know this is going to be for me the longest post ever but it is a much needed one. We had our 3 months rotations for school in Utah. It started off with a bang in Richfield with my sister, her husband and their 5 kids. We all had so much fun together. It was so great for us because they finished up their basement and we had our own little suite. Amy Jo and I tag teamed dinners each night. That was so much fun. Beth didn’t seem to mind. Then we w...

Cody, Erica, Lilly and Bethany: Quick Visit
http://scissortalk.blogspot.com/2012/08/quick-visit.html
Cody, Erica, Lilly and Bethany. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. My parents decided to come for a quick visit. I love having them because when I see them at their house the whole family is usually together so I don't get the attention I want. Cody was working pretty much the whole time; however, we still had fun. We went to San Diego, saw a few sites and went to the temple grounds. Beautiful temple! Here are some pictures from the trip. Quick trips are nice. You dont have time to get tired. Amy Jo and Skip.

Peacock Talk: Back Talking = Disrespect
http://peacocktalk.blogspot.com/2013/05/back-talking-disrespect.html
Journey To the Real World! Saturday, May 18, 2013. Back Talking = Disrespect. I just read an article that really hit home with me. My 4 year old has some serious sass and LOVES to get me into a power struggle. And while his outbursts of back-talk are downright loud and mean, as I thought more about this with my other kids, I realized they (we) ALL have a problem! Will you listen to your dialogues in your home this week and let me know what your kid said and what you said to help solve the problem? Simple...

Peacock Talk: Some Lessons And a Small Tribute
http://peacocktalk.blogspot.com/2013/05/some-lessons-and-small-tribute.html
Journey To the Real World! Monday, May 13, 2013. Some Lessons And a Small Tribute. We've had a few more 'lessons' since last post. One Saturday, I marched all the kids in the bathroom to teach them how to scrub the tub! Boy, were they excited! Surely you can sense the sarcasm here! That is not acceptable! Not on my watch! My mama didn't teach me to clean like that, nor to expect or accept such sloppy work. So from here on out we will be diligently scrubbing the tubby! Can I get an "AMEN! And one at age 6!
