Historical Society Programs for 2016. Our regular meeting dates are on the second Tuesday of the month. The building is open beginning at 7:00 pm Please come early and join us for refreshments before the meeting. The programs begin at 7:30 sharp. Click on photograph to enlarge. This marker is sited near the Thomaston Historical Society building, which was behind the actual mansion whose original foundation is under the wood shingled business office of the boat yard across the railroad tracks from the society's building.
