Aimless Rumination: she knows
http://peachtreewheelers.blogspot.com/2009/12/she-knows.html
Help spread the word about TOMS Shoes. Sunday, December 13, 2009. I assumed when she figured it out, it would be because one of her friends older siblings had told him/her and then passed on the knowledge. But no, Leigh figured it out because of a radio commercial that she heard while shopping in the Dollar Tree. I'm not sure which commercial she heard, but it was specific enough that it completely negated her belief in Santa. Leigh looks so grown-up and beautiful! December 13, 2009 at 10:37 AM. Im glad ...

http://peachtreewheelers.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Help spread the word about TOMS Shoes. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Doug and the girls ( Caitlyn) made a video. I think it's pretty cute :). Links to this post. Monday, July 27, 2009. That's about it. I am the lamest pregnant woman. We have decided to name our little boy Benjamin (honestly, hadn't thought of the name until Amanda. Come on, you guys, just agree). As for now, I will keep hanging in there. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). VA, United States. View my complete profile. Fine Art of Be...

Aimless Rumination: ... titles are lame
http://peachtreewheelers.blogspot.com/2010/01/titles-are-lame.html
Help spread the word about TOMS Shoes. Monday, January 11, 2010. But then we got our surprise. NOT OUR OOPS (oops implies mistake, which drives me crazy. oops implies that there were measures taken to prevent pregnancy, which is not the case. oops implies unwanted, which could not be further from the truth). No Are they individualized? The lack of a mini-van, or similarly sized vehicle, is hindering us. I have never wanted a mini-van. I just really do not. Labels: life in general. Im here-always, anytime...

Aimless Rumination: Journaling
http://peachtreewheelers.blogspot.com/2010/02/journaling.html
Help spread the word about TOMS Shoes. Saturday, February 13, 2010. Journaling is something that is taken very seriously in our family. well, taken seriously by everyone but me. Doug and I require that the girls keep a daily journal. It's a very structured activity, and something that, although we get backlash every once in a while, the girls actually appreciate. Leigh's journals began within the first few months of kindergarten. Leigh's first journal began with a single sentence about her day. Her handw...

Aimless Rumination: November 2009
http://peachtreewheelers.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Help spread the word about TOMS Shoes. Wednesday, November 18, 2009. I have just little time before heading out to the hospital this morning. I decided to go ahead and weigh myself after getting ready to go today, just to see where my starting point is. And I can't believe it, but I currently weigh 10 lbs less than at my first pregnancy appointment in April. I'm really surprised, because I had definitely started to pack on the lbs in the past two months. Links to this post. Monday, November 16, 2009.

Aimless Rumination: May 2009
http://peachtreewheelers.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Help spread the word about TOMS Shoes. Sunday, May 31, 2009. The size of a lime. hmm. Did you ever think that a baby the size of a lime would have so many distinguishable features? I didn't. We didn't get ultrasound pictures of Leigh this clear until much later in the pregnancy. At this stage she seemed to still resemble a bean (thus the nickname). I went back to the waiting room to wait an hour until they drew the next sample. I had brought "The Host". My third appointment was that afternoon with the hi...

Aimless Rumination: good behavior and one big boy...
http://peachtreewheelers.blogspot.com/2010/01/good-behavior-and-one-big-boy.html
Help spread the word about TOMS Shoes. Monday, January 18, 2010. Good behavior and one big boy. I think all the girls needed was to get back to school. Maybe it was a bit of cabin fever. maybe they were just tired of Doug and I. maybe they were tired of one another. maybe the improvement in the weather helped because they've been able to play outside. who knows, but starting Tuesday last week, the girls were much happier. Am I too sensitive to this? Am I the only one who thinks that it would be better to...
