Nyårsafton börja med fint väder, strålande solsken och 4 minus ute. när eftermiddagen närma sig börja även molnen samla sig över himlen och temperaturen höjdes till plus grader. My own monthly checkup. Sunday, 26 April 2015. Nothing much new, except I've been to Sweden twice now, only a few weeks apart. One week in Värnamo with my family for Easter, now for two weeks to finish off the muon sculpture thing at Chalmers. The weather was exquisite this Sunday in Göteborg, so I took a ride out to Saltholmen, had a long walk-about, and took some pix:. I play the violin, the guitars, I do some coding. Oh right, I bought a pair of these, the slime-green variant:. I need to sleep now.

My own monthly checkup. Tuesday, 14 January 2014. Sitting in the Steinhaus, at the perfect walking distance from GSI. I hope I'll get an apartment soon, although I should probably look around myself again. Had a quick look before x-mas and there are options, but they're a bit costly. My own monthly checkup. Tuesday, 17 March 2015. I've been breaking my one-post-per-month rule lately, I suppose this is a way to make up for some of the lacking activity around here. Currently trying to kill dark knights for gud lewt, but my parrying must have taken a dive. Did two in a row in the beginning, but suddenly I cannot do it anymore. Now that I know I should do light instead of heavy attacks after a successful parry. Monday, 2 March 2015. Just getting out of jetlag. So Long delay was long.

So we boiled the Swedish style Christmas ham, made our own chicken liver paté, kalvsylta with proper big chunks (jellied veal according to the almighty Wikipedia, sounds horrible) today, and we have a few other things in store (sill, our own spiced up snaps and so on). My own monthly checkup. Wednesday, 5 February 2014. I'm now a proud owner of a brand new HHKB Pro 2! Been making strides with the DAQ, the one guru from Chalmers made a trip down here and showed me the tricks of the trade. I've also managed to help out with various programming problems already with smiles abound and promises of "payback", and lots of people seem to be very happy of my new job. Feels nice. My own monthly checkup. Tuesday, 2 December 2014. Busy in a way. Missed a few posts. Went to Chalmers to work on the light organ for two weeks. Making electronics and computers do what you want them to is not always a whole lot of fun. Was great to see some friends though, almost all having families and lives. My own monthly checkup. Saturday, 8 March 2014. So I work quite a lot. Had nothing to do Friday evening, went to bed at 22 and now I'm at work, trying to fix a code bug in some DAQ readout. Discworld 2 is pretty shoddy compared to Discworld 1. Still a lot of fun, just. Ugh, a bit too thick somehow. Funny how already in the intro sequence Rincewind says 'Won't you miss these sorts of games? Yes, we do. Bloody mainstream attention, it destroys everything :p Hipster alert?
